Rob, I just wanted to thank you for everything. You're the one person I can depend on and is there for me and I cannot even begin to explain how much that means to me. From the start, I've always loved you and I've always looked up to you and admired you. You're such a wonderful person and I wish you'd see that yourself sometimes. You deserve to, and you deserve to be happy.

The last 13-14 months in which I've known you have been both the best, and worst (at times), in my life. But when they were bad it was not your fault and I never want you to think that. I know you said it was but I just can't let you think that. I can never hold anything against you. I blame myself for it all- but meeting you those two times and having gained your friendship has more than made up for everything, I promise.

But I just want you to know how much I love you, and how much I appreciate you. I really find it hard to explain and I know you probably get tired of me repeating myself. No one else gives me the chances that you give to me. You must be crazy, either that or I've done something right in my life for once to get you to like me like you do. And I know I don't deserve your time, or your friendship or anything else, but I'm just so grateful that you'd stick with me for as long as you have. That ultimatum you had to decide upon got me shaking for days. I'm just so glad you didn't do what she said. I'm still amazed at that, it should be obvious what anyone else would have chosen.

I'm useless and you know I am- yet you still give me your time and you really are amazing like that. I don't know why you bother sometimes, but I'm glad as hell you do because you really are the most important thing in my life. It really does mean alot to me, and you mean everything to me.

But seriously. This is like the best news I've had in ages ever.

Couple of days back, it was like bad news followed by even worse news. We'd been considering spending a week at my house for the half term, but couldn't because I wasn't allowed to go to Liverpool, and he couldn't come to Birmingham because the bombshell dropped that he has blood poisoning, his kidneys were damaged, has to go on Dialysis and could need a transplant. Hell, I'd have given him one of mine without a second thought but today, some good news finally came through. Although he still has to go on Dialysis temporarily, he should be back to normal in about six weeks because they're not too badly damaged, and are treatable. The second part of the good news, is that I'm finally able to go to Liverpool! This will involve a simple direct train from Birmingham New Street to Liverpool Lime Street, where we'll spend a day there, and then for the way back, him coming with me and spending a weekend together.

All in all, things get a hell of a lot worse before they get better!
